Further the Berceto Cathedral is one of the most important monument you should visit when you will travel along the “Via Francigena ”. In this area is produced the famous cheese “Parmigiano Reggiano” ,rich of mountain flavours and fragrances, always used in the tasty traditional cooking of the Apennine. Lot of eno gastronomic ( wine and food) tour about Prosciutto di Parma , Salame and other tipical product.
The property, that is only 8 km from village of Berceto, is plunged in a green valley, the production zone of Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma..
It is only 6 km from the access to Highway A15 and 60 km to Parma Airport G. Verdi that provides connections to Roma, Olbia, Londra Stansted, Copenaghen and others destinations.

The area is very various and diverse, forest, meadows, cultivated fields, orchards and vegetable garden.
You will soon feel attracted by the light and the large space , by the fragrance of musk , of the sage and the spontaneous flowers that still grow in the uncontaminated brushwood.

Description of buildings
In the farm there are two buildings used as residential complex , plus the wood-house, the old well and the warehouse of agricultural machinery and tools and garage.
The buildings ,were built in 1810, and are counted among the houses of historical value.
They have been properly restored giving both relief to the architectonical elements and maintaining the original materials used in the past when they were built.
Therefore they are completely made of cave stone and chestnut wood duly hand worked.
The property has an overall surface of 4213 net sqm (391 m2) and is composed of two separated buildings, plus garage and other various little stone building, the wood-house, the old well and the warehouse of agricultural machinery and tools.:
- the farmhouse, that hosts the 1505,37 net sqm (140 m2) manor's house;
- the Guesthouse, 1397,84 sqm (130 m2), which includes apartamnent to accomodate guests, plus 129 sqm( 12 m2) garage, 645 sqm storage and 537 wood storage,
The farmhouse
The owner house is a tipical stone house, built on 1810, restored on 2006-8, conserving in outside and inside the ancient look, whit modern appliance. A portico facing onto the courtyard and the garden gives access to the manor's house which is on two levels.
The ground floor consists of a big 258,05 sqm(24 m2) dining -room with a stone fireplace ,living room whit large kitchen and which is connected to the dining -room. The level is completed by a bathroom whith laundry facility.
A staircase in the middle of the living-room leads to the first floor, which hosts the sleeping area with the manor's suite composed of: master double bedroom whit studio, and bathroom , in addition to 2 further double bedrooms.
The property has been carefully restored with high-end materials, such as cotto fllors in the ground floor, parquet floors in the first floor, excellent original cesnut in the roofs .
